Senior Pastors

PASTORS ALLEN AND JANICE SPEEGLE are the senior pastors at Family Bible Church. They began ministry in the early 80’s in north Alabama, where they served until 1993, when they then moved to Florida to serve as pastors of Family Bible Church. As parents of two daughters and a granddaughter, they say, "We place a strong emphasis on the family unit. It is our desire to develop a church that ministers to the whole family." The Speegles teach practical Biblical truths that help people to experience the fullness of life that God alone can offer. Pastor Allen has a heart to encourage and minister to other leaders and pastors both locally and nationwide. His simple approach to the wisdom found in the Word makes it easy to understand the love of God for the individual. Janice has a unique and refreshing style of teaching, as she touches the lives of the congregation, from young to old with her humor and straightforward insight into the love of God.

Youth & Children's Pastors

ROD AND JILL WINDHAM serve as Youth and Children's Pastors at Family Bible Church. Pastor Rodrick, who began ministering at a very young age, began travelling to different countries around the world in 1986, ministering to people both by the Word and by his music ministry. After pastoring a church in North Carolina, Rodrick moved to Florida to minister in Family Bible Church. Jill is Pastor Allen and Janice’s oldest daughter. Growing up in ministry, she felt the call of God on her life at a very early age as well. She has ministered in song since age five, and was trained by her parents to teach the word and minister in the local church. Pastor Rodrick and Jill have worked together since 1994 in children’s and youth ministry, as well as praise and worship, and were married in November of 1996. They share a vision of outreach into the local community to reach the children and youth of today that so desperately need to know about the love of God.

Missions and Media

SHANNON CARROLL serves as Family Bible Church’s Missions and Media Pastor. Born & raised in South Africa, he and his wife Karin moved over to the USA in January 2004 on invitation from Pastor Allen. After serving in the military, Shannon studied with Rhema South Africa’s Bible and then Mission schools. He worked as a crusade manager for 8 years, travelling much of southern and central Africa with evangelist Ed Elliott of Word of Life World Outreach, setting up crusades, outreaches & conferences, also overseeing the ministry’s audio and visual department. He and Karin were married in early 2001 and founded the African satellite of Impact International School of Ministry’s correspondence Bible school.  Shannon first met Allen in Middelburg South Africa toward the end of 2000 through a mutual ministry colleague Ps. Arthur Meintjes of Believers Family Church and Kingdom Life Ministries. In 2002, Family Bible Church became a substantial supporter of the Carrolls work in Africa, both financially and in close relationship.
